About us
Ephoka was founded in 2008 and it was the first cocoa processing company in
Macedonia. Created and designed by its founder an entrepreneur focusing on cocoa
residue and processing who has been a pioneer in the cocoa trading market in Brazil
since 2002.
A few years after Ephoka Macedonia was founded, we expanded our company
production facilities in the Ivory Coast, Cameroon and Portugal to better supply
chocolate industry wholesalers world-wide.
We strategically have each location dedicated to different parts of the cocoa processing
and production :
Ephoka Côte D’Ivoire - Located in Abidjan, our plant processes the cocoa beans,
100% originated from West Africa, to cocoa mass, cocoa butter and cocoa cake.
Ephoka Cameroon - Located in Limbe, our plant processes the cocoa beans 100%
harvested from our cocoa farm. We carefully process the beans to natural cocoa mass,
cocoa butter and cocoa cake.
Ephoka Portugal - Located in Faro, our plant processes the cocoa cake from our own
two locations in West Africa and it is solely dedicated to produce natural and alkalized
cocoa powder.
Ephoka do Brasil - Located in São Paulo, supplies the chocolate industry wholesalers
in South America with natural and alkalized cocoa powder. The raw materials are 100%
imported from West Africa.
United States - Located in New York, Ephoka also has its main office, responsible for
the products distribution to the chocolate industry wholesalers in North America.
Not limited to the cocoa process we also provide consulting and speeches for cocoa
processing companies and entrepreneurs whom are starting in the chocolate industry.
